The 12-6 Curve is one of the curveball variations I talk about in this video and if you think about a clock, this pitch moves from 12 to 6. So when throwing a 12-6 curve, you want it to move vertically from up to straight down. That’s why they call it a 12-6 curve. The curveball would curve, but it would tail to the right or left of the plate. Pitchers try all of the time to throw a 12-6 curve to impress.
